Rosie Sue St.Julien

She's HERE!!! We got to the hospital at 6am to be induced. We went back and forth for days about whether we'd go in or not. Needless to say I gave in to my anxiousness and discomfort and we got that baby out. Everything was smooth sailing!!! All the nightmares I conjured up in my mind about being induced never happend. I came in dialated to a three and was ready to push that baby out within a few hours. We had to wait (while Rosie was being squished in my birth canal) on the doc, he was doing a c-section. He walked in at noon and we had Rosie in our arms at 12:15pm. It was thrilling. Rosie was a whopping 8 lbs!! We went from 6lbs 11oz, Scarlet to 8lbs of Rosie!! Hopefully this isn't a pattern and our next is 10 lbs!!! Yikes. So, Rosie is beautifull and SO FAR very sleepy and sweet. We are very happy parents, Scarlet is in love and the proudest big sister I have yet to meet. Here are some pictures...

Oh my my, will this become an addiction?

Ok, so, this is my first blog... please disregard any typos, mispellings, slanderous and scandolous opinions, and false doctrine. I'm thinking, but I may be wrong, that this will become my next addiction. My last addiction, collecting stamps, didn't work out really well. In fact, I didn't collect a single stamp. It's frustrating to have an addiction when you don't ever addict to it.

In asking people what my next addiction should be, they usually say cool stuff like, "How about taking up smoking," or, "What about pornography, that'll be addicting to you, trust me, I know," or, "Hey, I've been addicted to TV for years, and I turned out TV." But alas, none of these so called addictions appealed to me... so I continued searching.

That's when I found out about Blogs. Blogs.... what an interesting word... if I get addicted to blogging enough, I might have children someday named something like, Bloggy, Bloghead, Bloggy go Blog, or even Bububublog. That's what I like about addictions, you can use them in your everyday life so handsomely. Anyway, I found that many of my chummy friends, were also Blogsters. They blog all day and all night. They are continuely searching for things to put in their next blog. That's what makes their lives so exhilerating. My hope is that some day, we'll be able to look back to all our blogs and to make them into a journal, write them on plates of, I don't, gold or brass, and then someone down the road will be able to benefit from them.

Anyway, upon finding how successfully addicted some of my friends are to blogs, I am now trying to become addicted to this. Lets see if it happens or not. Seeing as I don't have the Internet at home at the moment ... it's just too early to tell.

So here's to my first Blog! Hip Hip and Dip Dip and Blog blog! Hopefully, if all goes as planned, I will also be making comments on others blogs to ensure my ful addiction to this thing called blog,
